The Nigerian Student Fashion And Design Week is one of the most anticipated fashion events of the year. The event is known for bringing together young and creative fashion designers from various higher institutions across the country.
It is quite amazing to see the huge progress and achievements the event has made since inception as the success stories of many emerging designers in the country can be traced back to NSFDW.
Wema Bank Plc, commonly known as Wema Bank, is Nigeria’s longest surviving indigenous commercial bank and has demonstrated consistent commitment to sustainable development of its resident communities.
In a chat with Mrs Odili Onome, Head of Brand & Marketing Communications at Wema Bank, she said the bank is passionate about empowering the creative youths in the country and the Nigerian Student Fashion And Design Week provides the right platform for the bank to support young entrepreneurs in the Nigerian fashion industry, a sector that is evolving quite rapidly.
The bank will also be rewarding the most creative designer of the Nigerian Student Fashion And Design Week with startup funds, and SME packages for the other participants.
The event is scheduled to hold on the 12th and 13th of August, 2016 at the Indoor Sports Hall, University of Lagos at 4pm.
Tickets will be sold at the Venue.
