Man City have signed defender Pablo Mari from Gimnastic Tarragona, the Spanish club have announced.
Pablo Mari is set to go straight out on loan to Gimnastic’s fellow Spanish second-tier side Girona.
The 22-year-old had been with Gimnastic since 2013, making 90 appearances.
A statement on the club’s website said: “We thank Pablo Mari for his commitment, discipline and hard work that he has contributed during these three years in the ranks of the first team.
Mari signed for Gimnastic from Mallorca and helped them reach the segunda – the second division – in 2015.
Mari becomes City’s 10th summer signing during Pep Guardiola’s first transfer window at the Etihad Stadium.
