Barcelona have confirmed the arrival of goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen from Ajax for £12.8m.
He has signed a five-year contract with the reigning La Liga champions, which has a £51m release clause.
Jasper Cillessen took to Twitter on Thursday morning to confirm his transfer to Barcelona with a Spanish caption “sueños se hacen realidad”, meaning “dreams come true” in English.
The 27-year-old Netherlands international, who made 44 appearances last season for Ajax, replaces Claudio Bravo, who is expected to be officially announced as a Manchester City player on Thursday.
Cillessen will be officially unveiled tomorrow and is now set to compete with Marc-Andre ter Stegen for the number one jersey at Barcelona.
