Hull City Caretaker Manager Mike Phelan Hoping To Sign New Players And Retain The Job

share on:

Caretaker boss Mike Phelan hopes Hull’s flying start will attract players to the club as well as boosting his own job prospects.

“The two results hopefully will make players want to come to this football club,” said Phelan.

“We are looking to enhance this squad and hopefully now they’ll have a different look about it when it comes to playing for this football club.

“The pleasing thing is that the players have said to others ‘come and join this football club’, so hopefully we can get some deals done.

“If players want to give it a go, and they’ve got the right character and determination and they fancy coming to Hull, then we’ll have you.

“But you have to fall in to how these players go about their work.”
