Manchester City have agreed to allow Samir Nasri to join Sevilla on loan
According to reports Nasri is now heading to the Spanish club for a medical ahead of the deal
Nasri had been training separately from the Man City squad after returning from his holiday overweight, and it appears he has failed to impress manager Pep Guardiola enough to be part of his plans for the season ahead.
The midfielder, who has more than 40 caps for France, came on as a substitute in Man City’s 3-1 win over West Ham on Saturday, but now looks set for a switch to the Spanish top flight.
Nasri made just 12 Premier League appearances for Manchester City last season, scoring two goals.
The former Marseille player joined City for £25 million from Arsenal in August 2011 and won two Premier League titles as well as collecting two League Cup and one FA Cup medal
