Tottenham have signed Georges-Kevin Nkoudou from Marseille, while Clinton Njie has joined the Ligue 1 club on loan.
The 21-year-old winger has signed a five-year contract, until 2021, Spurs announced.
Nkoudou told Spurs TV: “I can’t wait to get to know the Premier League and the English game.
“It suits my playing style, it’s explosive. Everyone knows I’m fast, I like to dribble around players so the English league is best for me.”
The winger made his senior debut for Ligue 1 side Nantes in the 2013-14 season, appearing eight times. It was the following year that he made a real impact with 32 appearances and two goals before being signed by Marseille in June 2015.
Known for his speed, he made 41 appearances in all competitions for l’OM last season, scoring 10 times and producing five assists. He was particularly prolific in the Europa League where four of his goals came.
Nkoudou is a France youth international and has been capped up to U21 level.
