AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has reiterated centre-back Alessio Romagnoli will not be sold to Chelsea.

The west London club have recently made big-money offers for the player, all of which have been rejected by the Rossoneri.

And speaking to Mediaset Premium, Galliani has again told the Blues the Italy U21 international is “untransferable”.

A statement on Milan’s website read: ‘AC Milan has received a significant offer for its player Alessio Romagnoli from Chelsea FC.

‘The player is not for sale, therefore this negotiation will not continue.

‘The club wants to thank Chelsea FC with whom we will continue to have a great working relationship.’

Chelsea will have to continue their search for a new defender elsewhere.
