Bayer Leverkusen have announced the signing of Austria defender Aleksandar Dragovic from Dynamo Kiev.
The 25-year-old has penned a five-year contract with the Bundesliga club and said he is looking forward to making the step up in class.
Alexandar Dragovic had been heavily linked with a move to the defending Premier League champions Leicester City all summer but has now made the switch to the Bundesliga
“Kiev for me was a real important stage in my career, but now the Bundesliga excites me as one of the best leagues in the world,” Dragovic said on the Leverkusen website.
“It’s fantastic that I’ve been able join Bayer 04 as one of the top clubs in Germany and a Champions League side as well as playing alongside my international team-mates Julian Baumgartlinger and Ramazan Ozcan.”
Austria international Dragovic won two Ukrainian Premier League titles and the Ukranian Cup once during his time in Kyiv.
