Mile Jedinak has completed his move to Aston Villa, the club have confirmed.
The 32-year-old received the relevant clearance this afternoon and has signed from Premier League club Crystal Palace.
Jedinak passed his medical at Villa yesterday and watched on from the Villa Park stands as the claret and blues drew 1-1 with Huddersfield.
He will bring some much-needed experience to the midfield and help increase the competition for places.
He may not make his debut at Derby County on Saturday.
According to Villa’s website: “The player will not be available for selection until EFL and FA registration is complete, which is subject to the issuance of the relevant UK Visa and Immigration documents.”
