Juventus remain keen to re-sign Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado on loan for the season, according to Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy.

But Blues boss Antonio Conte, who previously managed Juve, is delaying the deal until he can secure a replacement.

Cuadrado’s agent Alessandro Lucci is reportedly in London to broker talks between the two clubs.

The winger had a successful loan spell in Turin last season, winning Serie A and capturing the Coppa Italia

The former Italy manager had targeted Cuadrado while he was in charge of Juventus and was considered to be a fan of his.

However, he has failed to make a single appearance for the Stamford Bridge side since the start of the new campaign.

Earlier this month, Conte denied suggestions that Cuadrado could leave Chelsea before the end of the transfer window.

‘Cuadrado is a Chelsea player,’ Conte said.

‘He has worked very hard and is training very hard with us. Everyone knows what I think about Juan Cuadrado. Everyone knows that good players have a lot of interest in the transfer window.

‘Now he’s a Chelsea player and happy. If you ask me what could happen in the future, I can’t answer.’
