Adele Explains Why She Rejected NFL’s Offer To Headline The 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show

“Hello” singer Adele on Saturday confirmed that she has turned down an offer from the NFL to headline the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show,

Adele while speaking to  a sold-out crowd at Staples Center in Los Angeles said that she did not wish to take part in an event show that’s not primarily about the music.

Adele said

“First of all, I’d like to tell you I’m not doing the Super Bowl,” . “I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don’t really — I don’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I did say no.”

Super Bowl 51 will take place on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017.
