Electronics giant Acer has set a new record for world’s thinnest laptop at the IFA 2016.
Acer unveiled the Acer Swift 7 laptop on Wednesday morning. The Swift 7 measures under one centimeter in width, the first laptop to ever do so, and is now the thinnest laptop ever.
It’s 9.98mm is thinner than the Macbook Pro and the HP Spectre 13. It runs on Microsoft’s Windows 10 OS, and is powered by a 7th-generation Core i5 processor.
It has a full HD 13.3 inch screen, with a battery that offers up to 9 hours of usage. There are no fans in the system, giving space for 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. See photos of the Swift 7 below, courtesy Verge.
