Tyler Perry is giving out Halloween fright and humor rather than candies in his latest work “Boo! A Madea Halloween” hitting studios this October.
The story line from the most recent Madea franchise involves Mae babysitting her teenage grand-niece and her college friends who would rather be at a party happening next door, than locked up with three old women on Halloween night.
Bored out of their mind for being stuck at home, these teenage girls decided to prank Madea and her friends with scary Halloween stories and pranks.
The movie which was written, produced, and directed by Tyler Perry was inspired by Chris Rock’s 2014 film Top Five, which featured a fictitious Madea Halloween scene.
Perry was later contacted by Lionsgate with a suggestion to make it into a full movie, thus the birth of “Boo! A Madea Halloween.”
Madea stars alongside, Bella Thorne, Jimmy Tatro, Diamond White, Kian Lawley, and Yousef Erakat.
“Boo! A Madea Halloween” is Perry’s latest movie in his Madea series which began with Diary of a Mad Black Woman in 2005.
That was the first big screen debut which introduced Madea as a stubborn, hilarious, I-ain’t-afraid-of-the-popo character as there’s also the Madea Goes to Jail, Madea’s Family Reunion, Madea’s Witness Protection, and A Madea Christmas.
“Boo! A Madea Halloween” will be in released in theaters on October 21, 2016.

Tyler Perry never fails in the humor department. Who knew Madea could run so fast.
