Troy Ave Released From Prison – Rapper Troy Ave has been released from prison after posting half a million dollars in bail.

Troy Ave was arrested after he was injured during a shooting at a T.I. concert at the Irving Plaza in New York back in May. Ave denied any involvement in the shooting, which left one of his friends dead, as well as 2 more people injured.

Surveillance footage seemingly showed the rapper firing a gun near the venue’s VIP area, and he was arrested on attempted murder charges. Under the conditions of his release, he’s not allowed to leave New York and must always wear an ankle bracelet.  He also cannot visit any concert arenas or performances.

“What is clear is that the investigation from the outset has been hampered by the defendant who not only fired and removed the weapon from the crime scene, he refused to help in any way [to identify] who killed McPhatter,” Assistant District Attorney Joshua Steinglass said.
