#TheVoiceNigeria Episode 13: 8 Contestants Exit The Show

The 13th episode of #TheVoiceNigeria and the second live show was thrilling as the remaining 16 contestants were out to give their best in order not to be among the 12 contestants that will be up for possible elimination from the show. T

he contestants who were put up for possible eviction last week are Promise, Emem, Gabriel Songs, Shammah, Khemmie, Viveeyan, Prime, Sylvia, Dewe, Grace Mac, Linda 1nneka and Joe Blue! After the results of the viewers votes were announced, Viveeyan and Linda 1nneka were saved from #Team2baba and #TeamPatoranking respectively. Also, Promise was saved from #TeamWaje and Dewe from #TeamTimi to complete the list of four. It was however the end of the road for Emem, Gabriel Songs, Shammah, Khemmie, Prime, Sylvia, Grace Mac, and Joe Blue.


The performances for the night kicked off with #TeamPatoranking as the DNA twins comprising Clinton and Blair Opara performed ‘Work’ by Rihanna. This was followed by Uche James who sang ‘At Last’ by Etta James and Benjamin who sang ‘Kissing’ by Yemi Alade. Patoranking however chose to save Nonso Bassey leaving the other three contestants in the elimination zone.

#Team2baba had precious performing ‘Girl On Fire’ by Alicia Keys while Theodora sang ‘Big Girl Cry’ by Sia. David Operah on his part sang ‘Merxy’ by praise but it wasn’t enough to get the nod from 2baba who chose to save Jennifer.

Patrick gave a good account of himself and he got the nod from Waje ahead of A’rese who sang ‘Down’ by Ruby Gyang, Chiche who performed ‘Hurt’ by Christina Aguilera and Dawn who sang ‘Domino’ by Jessie J.

#TeamTimi had Tobore performing ‘Sexual Healing’ by Marvin Gaye, just as Armstrong gave a good rendition of Asa’s ‘Fire On The Mountain’ and Kofo sang ‘Today Na Today’ by Omawumi. Their performances wasn’t good enough as Timi chose to save Cornel.

The saved talents at the end of the night were Nonso Bassey from #TeamPatoranking, Jennifer from #Team2baba, Patrick from #TeamWaje and Cornel (#TeamTimi).
