A Spanish bullfighter, Victor Barrio, was gored to death on Live TV after a bull’s horn pierced his chest in front of spectators.
The incident occurred during a fight in the town of Teruel in the eastern region of Aragon, Saturday, (June, 9) as the website of Madrid’s Las Ventas bullring, confirmed the incident.
Barrio began his craft as a bullfighter as an apprentice in 2010.
He is the first Spanish bullfighter to die in a ring since the turn of the century, local authorities report.
Also on Saturday, in Pamplona, Spain, during a four-minute run which featured six bulls from the one of the ranches, one of the dangerous animals got separated from the herd, causing panic among the runners. Amidst the ruckus, a 33-year-old Japanese man was gored in the chest and a 24-year-old Spanish man in the arm, as twelve other people managed to escape with not so severe injuries.
A spokesman for the festival said the Japanese man was in stable condition at a local hospital.
