Southampton are considering a bid for Tottenham full-back Kieran Trippier, according to the Daily Star.
The former Burnley man was second choice to Kyle Walker last season, and Saints reportedly believe a £5m offer could tempt Spurs to sell.
Trippier, 25, snubbed interest from Saints to join Spurs from Burnley in a £3.5m deal last summer.
New St Mary’s boss Claude Puel wants an attacking right back and goalkeeper to complete his summer spending.
Saints have already snapped up Norwich winger Nathan Redmond and Bayern Munich midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
