Odion Ighalo has been announced as the brand ambassador for MultiChoice.
Ighalo who is a Super Eagles and Watford football club striker will represent the brand in several projects such as its upcoming DStv campaign, which includes TV, Out-of-home, digital, radio and press adverts.
Also expected with his new deal, Ighalo will be required to make special guest appearances at major DStv events.
Ighalo who is joining the likes of OC Ukeje, John Okafor and Daddy Showkey as ambassadors for the brand said he is happy about joining Mulitichoice as his family couldn’t afford DStv in their home while growing up.
Odion disclosed, “Growing up, we couldn’t afford to have DStv in our house, so I used to pay to watch football at viewing centres. It is a dream come true and I am looking forward to this new relationship with MultiChoice.”
