France midfielder Antoine Griezmann has won the player of the tournament, at the just concluded Euro 2016.
The 25-year-old was announced by Fifa, who say its 13 technical advisers voted for the player.
The Atletico Madrid man, who signed a contract recently, also won the golden boot, after scoring 6 goals.
UEFA’s chief technical officer Ioan Lupescu said: “Antoine Griezmann was a threat in every game he played.
“He works hard for his team and possesses technique, vision and quality finishing. The technical observers were in unanimous agreement that he was the tournament’s outstanding player.”
Portugal midfielder Renato Sanches, meanwhile, was named as the tournament’s best young player.
