David Moyes is reportedly looking to make Adnan Januzaj one of his first signings as Sunderland manager.

According to the Daily Mail, the Man Utd winger, who was given his debut by former Old Trafford boss Moyes, is available for loan.

He appeared only six times for Borussia Dortmund before returning to Old Trafford in January.

The former United boss wants to build a side capable of achieving more than their annual scrap against relegation.

Moyes said: ‘We have a big club here we need to take forward.

‘We need to make sure it isn’t us celebrating staying up.

‘That can’t be the goal. It’s not my goal, that’s for sure.’

The Black Cats are yet to make a summer signing, although former Aston Villa winger Charles N’Zogbia is with the squad in Evian-les-Bains ahead of their pre-season training camp.
