Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas has joined Fulham on a season-long loan, the Sky Bet Championship club have confirmed.
The 23-year-old centre-back, who moved from Sigma Olomouc to Stamford Bridge for £5.2m in 2010, is no stranger to being loaned out.
He played 47 times for Middlesbrough in 2014/15 as they reached the Championship play-off final.
Kalas was believed to be keen on a permanent switch to Middlesbrough and manager Aitor Karanka wanted to bring him back on another loan deal, but a move never materialised.
The 23-year-old seems to be a forgotten man at Stamford Bridge and has only made four appearances in his six-year-spell with the Blues.
Kalas becomes Fulham’s fourth summer acquisition after striker Sone Aluko, midfielder Floyd Ayite and defender Michael Madl.
