Monaco forward Lacina Traore will spend next season on loan with CSKA Moscow.
The 25-year-old, nicknamed the “Gentle Giant” because of his two-metre frame, scored 10 goals in 27 matches for Monaco last season.
The Russian champions confirmed the news on Wednesday with the striker’s last loan spell away from Ligue 1 coming in 2014 with Everton in the Premier League.
“It’s one of the best Russian clubs. I have already played in this league and saw that CSKA set the tone here.
“Hopefully our cooperation will be fruitful.”
Traore has ten caps and four goals as an Ivory Coast international and returns to Russia after previous loan stints with Kuban Krasnodar in 2011/12 and Anzhi Makhachkala in 2012/13.
