Victor Wanyama is set to undergo a medical at Tottenham Hotspur ahead of a move from Southampton.
Wanyama flew in from his native Kenya on Sunday as he prepares for his medicals and to finalise personal terms on a four-year deal.
A fee of 11 Million Pounds have been accepted by Southampton for Victor Wanyama to move to White Hart Lane.
Wanyama has just a year remaining on his Southampton contract
Tottenham tried to sign the player last August when Wanyama told Ronald Koeman he wished to leave and rejoin Pochettino, who signed him while boss on the south coast, but Southampton refused to sell.
Spurs are keen to sign a new central-midfield ‘destroyer’ this summer, as they prepare for a return to the Champions League, and they believe Wanyama fits the criteria of a young yet experienced player who can go straight into their first-team squad.
