Usain Bolt May Lose Olympic Gold Medal Over Doping – World’s fastest man Usain Bolt is in danger of losing one of his 2008 Olympics gold medals.
This is after his teammate for the 4×100 relay race, Nesta Carter’s ‘A’ sample was retested and found to contain a banned substance, Methylhexanamine.
Carter ran the first leg of the world-record setting team, Michael Frater, Asafa Powell and Bolt running the other 3 legs in a time of 37.10 seconds. Carter also won gold with Jamaica at the 2012 Olympics in London and the 2011, 2013 and 2015 World Championships.
Nesta is not yet in danger of any sanctions until an examination of his ‘B’ sample. If the sample tests positive, Carter may face up to 18 months suspended.
