Arsene Wenger is positive Leicester striker Jamie Vardy will snub Arsenal for a chance to stay at Leicester.
The England international’s future has been heavily speculated, after Arsenal met his release clause of £20 million.
The striker has decided to put a lid on proceedings, preferring to focus on the Euros instead.
And now Wenger has dampened any speculation by admitting that, to his knowledge, Vardy will remain a Leicester City player after opting against a summer exit.
“Jamie Vardy is, at the moment at Leicester,” the Arsenal boss told Tencent Sports.
“And, on what I know, he will stay at Leicester.”
