Taraji P Henson, author of, ‘Around The Way Girl’, is presently in South Africa to join FOX and DSTV on a local tour to promote the third season of the popular TV show, Empire, and couldn’t help but share her delight.
Just like every lover of black culture, Taraji shared an image with the quote, “Her hair defies gravity, her skin absorbs sunlight”.
The 45 year-old announced her presence in South Africa, “#Mood #SouthAfrica #TheMotherLand #BlackIsFuckinBeautiful #ProudBlackWoman right here. They tried to bury us and erase our history #IMPOSSIBLE 🇿🇦💋💋💋.”
One user, ‘damien’, dropped a comment tagging her a black racist.
He wrote, “all women are beautiful, not just black women. Empower beauty in all women, not just your race #blackracist.”
Taraji wouldn’t tolerate such disrespect as she clapped back. She began with, “#ShutUpDora and go somewhere and be proud of who you are. What does celebrating my black beauty have to do with being a racist? “You are ignorant and clueless. Maybe chill on the steroids.”
Repping her Cookie character, Taraji continued, “It’s affecting your small lil pea brain! FOH CHUMP!! BTW you label yourself King (sad emoji) True Kings Don’t get in their feelings Kaweens Do #BYEBITCH.”
Grand clap back or nah?
