Russia Offer Manuel Pellegrini National Team Job – The Russian Football Association has offered Manuel Pellegrini the chance to manage the country at the 2018 World Cup.
Pellegrini, who was released by Manchester City at the end of last season, is currently without a team. He has however expressed his interest in remaining in the Premier League.
Russia will be playing the 2018 World Cup on home soil, and Russia have offered Pellegrini a 2-year contract which would terminate after the tournament.
The Russian football team are currently without a manager after manager Leonid Slutski handed in his resignation following a dismal performance at the 2016 UEFA European Championships, with Russia picking up only one point in 3 group games.
