Manchester City are closing in on the signing of Nolito from Celta Vigo, according to The Guardian.
The 29-year-old, who is currently on international duty with Spain at Euro 2016, was thought to be attracting the interest Barcelona having scored 12 goals in La Liga last season.
However, it is suggested Nolito has already agreed personal terms for a three-year deal with the option of a further year witch City and is keen to link up with Pep Guardiola in the Premier League.
The Daily Star even claims City have activated a clause in the 29-year-old’s contract and he has agreed to a three-year deal with the option of a further year at the Etihad Stadium.
Due to Nolito’s involvement with Spain at Euro 2016 no announcement is expected before the tournament’s over.
