Liverpool will earn a development fee worth £4 million from youngster’s Jerome Sinclair’s switch to Watford. Who signed a four-year deal at the club.
The 19-year-old forward has a contract that is due to expire at the end of the month. He agreed terms with the Hornets in May, and will officially join Watford come July 1.
Liverpool were due a compensation fee for developing the teenager, whom they signed from West Brom’s academy at the age of 14.
Watford had originally offered £1.5m for the player in January, which was rejected by the Reds.
It was thought that a tribunal would be needed to reach an agreement, but the clubs have settled on £4m.
