Liverpool have shown the most interest in signing coveted Lyon wideman Rachid Ghezzal, reports L’Equipe.
The Algerian international, 24, has one year left on his contract and Lyon do not want him to leave for free next summer.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas said: “He still hasn’t signed a contract renewal. If he does not sign it next week, we will put him in the [transfer] market.”
According to L’Equipe, Liverpool are interested in the winger, while he is also attracting attention from Middlesbrough, Celta Vigo and Valencia. Ghezzal scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 29 league appearances for Lyon in 2015/16.
