Game Of Thrones Spoilers: Catelyn Stark To Come Back From The Dead

share on:

A lot of speculations came up from the 8th episode of season 6 of HBO’s Game of Thrones, especially regarding the line the story will follow and whether some actors will be brought back from the dead.

These spoilers are quite believable, given the happenings so far and following the George R.R Martin Books, especially “A Song of Ice & Fire” which points to the re-emergence of certain characters. Furthermore, one of the new characters of the show in what seemed like a honest mistake, revealed through social media the name of his character and suggesting which of the characters from George R. R. Martin’s book series will be making a comeback to the show. The most likely character will be “Lady Stoneheart” who played a huge role in the book “A song of Ice and Fire.”

The latest episode of #GameOfThrones showed three characters who last featured in season 4 riding on horseback which seemingly marked the return of the Brotherhood Without Banners. Jóhannes Haukur, who played the lead role amongst the three members of the Brotherhood Without Banners had said on social media that the name of his character, Lem Lemoncloak, who is a faithful servant of the Brotherhood surrendered control of the Brotherhood to a certain Lady Stoneheart. Lady Stoneheart as it turns out, is the reanimated or better put, the old Catelyn Stark who was brought back to life in the books. Haukur however wrote on Twitter, that he “can’t say either way” whether the character will appear on the show.

With Jóhannes Haukur dropping the name of Lady Stoneheart, it is left to be seen if Catelyn Stark will emerge in the 9th episode of season 6 to seek revenge on all those responsible for her death and betrayal of her family.
