Yaya Toure Turns Down Mega Offers From China – Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has signaled his intention to continue playing in the Premier League.
Coming off a below-par season, and with Pep Guardiola coming into Manchester City, there were reports circulating that the 33-year old Ivory Coast legend would be on his way out of the club.
Toure, who has one year left on his £230,000-a-week deal at City, however has no plans to leave, and has snubbed Inter Milan, who are managed by Toure’s former City manager, Roberto Mancini.
Toure has also reportedly rejected contract offers from Chinese Super League sides Shanghai SIPG and Jiangsu Suning, who offered him contracts worth over £300,000-a-week.
There are also reports that Guardiola has no issues with Yaya Toure, whom he declared as surplus to requirements during his time at Barcelona.
