Toyin Aimakhu, and her ex-lover, Seun Egbegbe, have been battling each other publicly for a while now, while causing damage to their personalities along the way.
Seun even went as far as granting an interview where he made some negatively inciting comments about Toyin.
Egbegbe said, “Toyin Aimakhu’s career is finished as far as Yoruba movie sector is concerned, unless she corrects the erroneous impression she has given the public about my person.
How can a person l call my girl friend accuse me of kidnapping her? What does she want to gain from that? And she said her personal assistant typed the message.
If that’s true, where was she? And when she noticed it, why didn’t she withdraw it immediately before the whole thing went viral? So, I believe she has something hidden.
“I am repeating it, no producer must deal with her again. Any producer that doesn’t heed the warning will find him or herself to blame. It’s not a threat, it’s a promise.”
Aimahku and her lawyer, Bosun Osifowora took Egbegbe to the office of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, stating that Egbegbe’s threats had affected her badly and left her in such a negative light she couldn’t get movie jobs anymore.
The CP made Egbegbe sign an undertaking to stop disturbing Toyin as well as to never hurt or disturb her whether privately or in company of people.
Egbegbe proved his willingness to comply with the undertaken by giving Toyin a visual public apology, this he did via his Instagram account though he later deleted it.
He captioned it: “I hereby regret any inconveniences I might have caused Toyin Aimakhu.
She’s is an A-list actress, anyone who wants to do business with her should deal with her as a celebrated artist. I wish her the best.”
