Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed his desire to retire at the Santiago Bernabeu, as he is willing to sign an extension.
The Portugal international has a contract set to expire in 2018, and has been linked with a possible return to United, with PSG looking to acquire him.
Earlier this year, Ronaldo hinted that he could be open to a switch to Major League Soccer but the Portugal international is now ready to see out his career in the Spanish capital.
“It’s obvious I want to stay I here. I think I am going to retire at Real Madrid,” Ronaldo told La Sexta’s ‘Jugones’ show.
“Renewal after the Champions League final? Let’s see. Real Madrid would be smart if they extend my contract.
“I am happy at Real Madrid. I can see no club better than this one.”
