Pedro Does Not Regret Switch To Chelsea

Pedro has no reservations over switching from Barcelona to Chelsea.

Pedro enjoyed eight successful years at Barcelona, winning three UCL trophies.

The Spanish forward left the Catalan club, falling below the pecking order, with the addition of Suarez. And joined Chelsea ahead of the 2015/16 season.

However, Chelsea’s defence of their crown was an unmitigated disaster, culminating in a 10th-place finish, while Barca lifted their second title in a row on Saturday.

Pedro himself scored just seven times in 29 league appearances as the Blues failed to qualify for Europe next term, but the 28-year-old insists he has no regrets over the switch to London and wants to help them rebuild.

“I am really happy here and have no regrets about the decision I made to join Chelsea,” Pedro said to the Evening Standard. “Is the best still to come from me? Absolutely. I always keep faith in myself and my abilities.

“I am already looking forward to next season in terms of what we can achieve and putting the club back where it should be.

“I’m really looking forward to fighting for the Premier League, which will be a dream for me.”
