Ondo Workers To Begin Indefinite Strike On Wednesday

share on:

Civil servants in Ondo State have decided to embark on an indefinite strike on Wednesday to demonstrate their displeasure at the failure of the state government to pay their salaries for five months.

It is gathered that an emergency meeting is currently on progress by the leadership of the organised labour in the state with respect to the planned industrial action.

A source from the union averred that as from tomorrow, workers are expected to stay away from work until the outstanding arrears are paid, even as all government hospitals in the state will equally be shut down.

More details to be added as the story develops…
