Nigeria has appointed Indian, Shrinam Reganathan as coach of its Cricket side, as they hope to perform well at the World Cricket League Division 5, to be hosted by United Kingdom.
Reganathan was appointed, following Nigeria’s unimpressive performance in previous outings, as they hope to impress in the competition organised by the ICC.
“We are happy to have such a coach that has attained the highest level of coaching training in India. India is one of the best cricket nations in the world and we strongly believe his wealth of experience will impact positively on our team at the ICC league,” he said.
The official added that the team would depart the country on May 11 on a training tour to Essex in London to acclimatize before departing for the league.
More than 14 Nigerian cricket players have been invited to camp ahead of the training tour and competition.
