Former minister of aviation and spokesperson of the Goodluck Jonathan campaign Organization, Femi Fani-Kayode has been granted administrative bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The administrative bail came on the heels of Fani-Kayode’s appearance in a police convoy at the headquarters of the premier anti-graft agency in Abuja on Monday, May 9, 2016.
The commission had in a letter dated May 6, invited Mr Fani-Kayode to appear and explain his role in the disbursement of N840 million believed to be a part of a N2.5 billion illegal removal from the Central Bank of Nigeria account.
He arrived the Commission in a blue native attire around 9.45am.
Fani-Kayode’s bail conditions includes providing sureties who must be 2 serving directors with landed properties in Abuja, the capital city.
