Kadiri Ikhana Resigns As Manager Of 3SC – The manager of Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, Kadiri Ikhana, has resigned.
Ikhana revealed that the club had broken their contractual agreement, and he was quitting the Oluyole Warriors permanently.
“My time with 3SC is up and I have written my resignation letter hinting about my desire to leave,” Ikhana told Goal. “I cannot continue in a club where my contractual agreement has been breached. I was told necessary things that would make my work successful would be provided but till now none was kept.”
Ikhana blamed the recent poor performances of the team on the fact that the players haven’t been paid their salaries in months, and are not happy with the board. The club is 18th in the league, with a meager 17 points from 17 games played so far.
It is reported that Ikhana’s exit may have been precipitated by some of the club’s influential fans, who weren’t happy with his huge take home salary of N1.2 million.
