Everton are preparing for life without Romelu Lukaku by lining up a summer move for West Brom striker Saido Berahino, according to The Sun.

Both players’ long term futures have been the subject of discussion in recent seasons, with Lukaku admitting his aspirations of playing in the Champions League – something Everton are yet to achieve during his time at the club – and Berahino continually linked with a move away from The Hawthorns.

A number of Europe’s biggest club, most notably Paris Saint-Germain, are keen on signing the Belgium international Lukaku, who has scored 25 goals for the Toffees this season.

With the future of their key striker up in the air, The Sun claim Everton have targeted Berahino as a replacement and hope to land him in a £12m deal this summer.
