Leonid Slutskiy, CSKA Moscow manager has stated Leicester City made a bid worth around €30 million for Nigeria international, Ahmed Musa.
A bid from the EPL club was rejected in January, with the forward keen on ending his season at CSKA.
The 23-year-old finished the season with 18 goals, as CSKA pipped FC Rostov to the title.
But Slutskiy has now confirmed the player is actively looking to speak to Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri after they secured the Premier League title.
“The British club offered a bit less than €30m,” he told Match TV. “Musa came to me a few days ago and asked when he [Ranieri] is back for the holidays and I told him I do not know, I do not know Ranieri.”
When pushed on whether the two clubs were holding talks he added: “I do not know for sure. It is the work of our management but I think the probability is high.”
