Congolese and London college of Fashion graduate, fashion designer Innocente Messy releases the full lookbook for Mobaly Collection.
The much accepted collection has been praised by TY Hunter (Beyonce’s stylist), Melanie Fiona and worn by celebrity Angela Simmons.
The lookbook was styled by Nigerian-American stylist Kanayo Eb. The collection had a total of 15 looks all inspired by the 1960’s MOD Subculture with accents and influences from Africa.
All the 15 essential trend pieces ranged from defined silhouettes to exaggerated outer wear. The collection had skirts, pants, tops and dresses all the pieces had hand woven details that truly represented the African influence. The fabrics used for the collection were really textured like cashmere, fleece and wool, and they helped put the looks together.
Very few colors were adopted for the collection; Blue, yellow, white and black which gave the collection a classic feel. We can’t wait to spot more people rocking the clothes.
