Chelsea are keen on putting the abysmal 2015/16 season in the past, and have unveiled a new home jersey to that effect.
The 2015/16 season was bodied with poor play, inconsistent form, managerial changes and mid-table finish for the 2014/15 champions.
Moving forward for 2016/17, the loved football and longstanding kit provider Adidas retains Chelsea’s blue-clad aesthetic, with a V-neck look and a tonal motif of the club’s crest, repeated throughout the jersey.
You won’t have to wait for next season to see the kit in action, though. The Blues are set to don the new look come May 15 in their final game of 2015/16 — a clash with Premier League champs Leicester City, no less.
Fans can also pre-order the kit from both adidas and Chelsea’s official web shop beginning May 11.
