According to Yaya Toure’s agent, the midfielder is in talks with Inter on the possibility of a move.
Manchester City are looking to sell the ivorian, who played a crucial role for the club in its early years, but us now a caricature of his former self.
A move to Inter and the Serie A, will unite the midfielder with former City manager, Roberto Mancini.
And now the 33-year-old’s representative, Dimitry Seluk, has fuelled speculation his client could sign for the Nerazzurri after claiming negotiations have started after City told him they are willing to sell.
Seluk told calciomercato.it: “It’s true, we’re talking with Mancini.
“We’re looking for a solution with Manchester City, who want to sell Yaya Toure only up front, not on loan.
“I can’t say if there are other teams interested. He has a contract, but nothing special. Inter? It’s a good club.”
Mancini revealed last week that Serie A has never seen a player like Toure, hinting that he is interested in bringing the ex-Monaco and Barcelona man to Inter.
Seluk announced on Tuesday that Toure’s future should be decided in the next 10 days.
