Judging by recent number of hits and achievements, Wizkid and Davido are 2 of the biggest acts in Nigeria.
Davido recently got signed by Sony Music, and has grown so big, he’s signed on 2 new acts: Mayorkun and Dremo. Wizkid on his own part, continues to establish himself as an icon both in Africa and abroad, with song and production credits on what will most likely be the biggest international album of 2016.
Sadly for Nigerian music, these two superstars haven’t always been on good terms. They have been the subject of constant comparisons between their fan bases, bad blood which eventually spilled on to them. The two have collaborations with almost every major Nigerian act apart from each other. They have even both featured on the song before, most recently Krept & Konan’s Freak Of The Week remix.
In recent times though, the duo seem to have made up, with both sides showing solidarity for the other on social media. They’ve taken photos together, posing from inside private jets to atop luxury cars. Davido showed support for Wizkid during his tiff with blogger Linda Ikeji, and today congratulated Wizkid over his work in #Views.

With Wizkid and Davido now seemingly the best of friends, we can only hope that “what we got coming” refers to a long overdue collaboration. Or maybe they’d take it a step further and give us a joint album? Haha. Whatever they choose to do, we are ready.
