Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl fears a ‘tumultuous’ summer sparked by rumours of Granit Xhaka’s move to Arsenal.
Arsenal have scouted 24-year-old midfielder Xhaka througout the season, with Arsene Wenger set to lose Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Mathieu Flamini. Xhaka has also revealed his ‘dream’ of playing in the Premier League.
However, with Arsenal understood to be reluctant to meet his 30m pounds price tag any transfer could be a drawn-out process.
“I fear it could get very tumultuous regarding rumours in the summer,” said Eberl.”There is no offer from England. I will keep you up to date when the faxes roll in.”
