Tottenham star Harry Kane should consider a summer move to Manchester United or Real Madrid if the opportunity arises, according to former Spurs striker Teddy Sheringham.
The England international has scored 22 goals so far in the Premier League, shirking off talk following a slow start to the campaign that he was the latest one-season-wonder in the top flight.
Harry Kane, 22, has fired Spurs within contention of their first league title since 1961, and has subsequently attracted interest from Manchester United and Real Madrid.
“Should he move right now? I don’t know.” Sheringham told Mail on Sunday. “Timing’s a funny thing in football because you have to take the opportunity when it arises.
“If you don’t , another striker might go to United or Real Madrid or whoever we’re talking about and you won’t get the chance again for another four or five years.”
