Roma president James Pallotta has ruled out selling Miralem Pjanic, insisting the midfield is happy in the Italian capital.
The Bosnia-Herzegovina playmaker has been hotly linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer, it is understood that the Blues were keen on bringing him to Stamford Bridge.
However, speaking on Roma Radio, Pallotta was adamant Pjanic would remain with the Giallorossi.
“There’s a lot of paper talk about players leaving, like Pjanic,” he said.
“I rule that out categorically, he doesn’t want to leave and we won’t sell him. Even just talking about it hurts the team, I’m tired of these rumours.”
