Debbie Goes To Rest After a Six-Year Battle With Cancer

Debbie Osarere Idiagbonya lost her fight to cancer recently after battling with the illness for over five years.

In December 2011 Debbie was diagnosed with breast cancer after a growth on her left breast; the cancerous stone spread rapidly from her left breast to her right breast and neck.

In 2012, six-million naira was raised to help with her surgery after awareness was made about her case on Twitter.

Debbie declared she was cancer-free two years ago but her liver, bones and lungs had already been affected by the disease as her condition took a dive for worse.

She passed away at a hospital in Maryland, USA where she had been receiving treatment.

Debbie captioned her last post:

? What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of JESUS
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of JESUS

Oh precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow
No other found I know
Nothing but the blood of JESUS.

HE is risen and so shall I rise and be free from my plague. Mark 5 vs 34.

Two-months past, Debbie talked about how receiving treatment late caused her cancer to get worse while trusting in God.

Just because I didn’t get chemotherapy on time, cancer went to play a terrible game with my system but, trust GOD HE will never forsake HIS own people… Was hospitalized From Christmas to 29th January the new condition gave all my medical team hypertension before they finally discovered the cause.. John 11 vs 4 says this sickness is not unto death but for the son of GOD to be glorified.

Still in severe pain but I’m grateful I made it through..
Cancer sucks??????
