Oh Royal! The Obamas Accept Prince Harry’s ‘Invictus Games’ Challenge

The Obamas were in the UK for the Queen’s 90th birthday last week and it was a fun experience for America’s first couple. Before leaving the shores of England, Prince Harry challenged POTUS and FLOTUS to “bring it” at the next Invictus Games which starts May 8 in Orlando.

Barrack and Michelle responded to the challenge via twitter and Prince Harry was with the Queen when his phone buzzed. He opened it and read the Obamas’ reply to the Queen and she gave a very humorous ‘royal’ answer.

Invictus Games is a sporting competition for wounded, injured, and sick military personnel that Prince Harry started.

The inaugural Invictus Games in London 2014 used the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect for wounded, injured and sick Servicemen and women.

The next Invictus Games will take place in Orlando, 8th-12th May 2016 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Prince Harry recently announced that the Invictus story will continue and that there will be a third Invictus Games in Toronto, Canada in September 2017.

We all love a good fight, especially when it’s for a good cause.
